How we keep N-O-X Chat safe
N-O-X Chat is built for adults to meet and talk. The 18+ rule exists to keep children away, and everything below is designed around that.
Adults only (18+)
You must be 18 or older to use N-O-X Chat. If someone says they are under 18, or answers an age question with a minor's age, the account is banned. We also block the device or connection that was used, so it cannot simply open a new account.
Parents: please keep young children away from chat sites. No system catches everyone, and your supervision is the strongest protection.
Text only, no links
You cannot upload photos, videos, or files, and links to other sites are blocked. This keeps harmful images and scams out of the chat.
Protect your privacy
- Others only see your nickname and the profile details you choose. Your date of birth is never shown.
- Never share your address, school, phone number, or financial details. Never move to other apps with someone you just met.
Report and block, any time
Every chat has report and block buttons. Blocked people cannot match with you or message you. Reports are checked, and accounts that break the rules are restricted or banned.
Bots and spam
Accounts that send the same message repeatedly or flood many rooms are restricted automatically.
Illegal content and children
We do not allow content that sexualizes or endangers children. Anything of this kind is removed, the account is banned, and it is reported to the proper authorities.
Appeals and deleting your account
If you think a ban or restriction was a mistake, you can send an appeal from the Restricted or Banned screen. You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Some safety records, such as a ban record, may be kept so banned accounts cannot come back.
